Hi Dave,
I publish full text, too. Since I don’t like it when blogs publish summaries only, I treat my readers the same way I like to be treated. If you have affiliate links in your content, then you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by publishing full text.

For a lot of bloggers, the CPM / Click-through rates are much lower on RSS ads than on their website. There are also more opportunities to monetize the site than the feed.

You have been able to embed adverts in RSS feeds for a very long time now – I have adsense in all my feeds, so I don’t see why loss of advertising revenue would put people off.

I agree with you Dave. I prefer to read the whole thing in Thunderbird (my RSS reader of choice)…especially since my computer is lacking in the RAM department, so less clicking is better.
