Wouldn’t that be a good metric to know? WP125 let’s you do just that. It’s really an advertising plugin, but I’m using it to track the number of times my big RSS button is clicked, then comparing that data to number of subscribers according to FeedBurner. That will tell me how many people are viewing my RSS feed, but not subscribing (sort of). If you’re curious, approximately 21% people subscribe to this blog after clicking the big button to the right.
The Internet is great, because it allows us (marketers / website owners) to be very specific (never was a big fan of granular) with metrics, making it much easier to make changes on demand. That’s why web advertising is still growing, albeit slow, while many other medias are dying.
